About Numerly

A clean home for everyday number tools — converters, calculators, generators, and the occasional decision maker.

Numerly exists because most online tool sites are hostile to use. They are ad-stuffed, slow, and built like 2008. You search “kg to lbs”, you click the top result, you get a banner ad over your answer. We thought that was beneath the task, so we built this.

Today there are 97 tools on Numerly. They all share three rules:

  1. Type, get the answer.No submit button, no loading spinner, no “create an account to view your result”.
  2. No ads on the result. The page that answers your question is the page you came for. We do not interrupt it.
  3. Open by default. Every tool can be embedded on any website with one line of code. We earn our place by being good, not by cornering you.

How tools are chosen

Each tool on Numerly was researched against real search-volume and competition data before we built it. We do not add tools because they sound interesting — we add them because someone asked Google for the answer that day, and we believed we could answer it cleaner than what they found. Some queries we deliberately do not chase: the ones owned by national health authorities (BMI, mortgage calculators), the ones with legal grey area (YouTube downloaders), or the ones Google answers itself with a widget (timers, alarm clocks).

How we make money

We do not, yet. Numerly is bootstrapped and free. If usage grows we may add optional sponsorships clearly labeled as such, an opt-in newsletter, or a small “Pro” tier with extras like batch operations. The core tools will stay free, instant, and ad-free on the result.

Privacy

Numerly does not require accounts, does not show banner ads, and does not sell anything to anyone. We use Vercel's privacy-friendly analytics to count page views in aggregate — no cookies, no tracking across sites. Calculators that need your input do their math entirely in your browser; no value you type ever leaves your device.
