How it works

Each die uses a fresh call to Math.random() scaled to 1–6 and rounded down. Rolls are independent — rolling six 5s in a row is just as likely as any other sequence.

Is the dice roller fair?

Yes. Each die is rolled independently with a uniform distribution from 1 to 6.

Can I roll different-sided dice (d20, etc.)?

Not yet — this tool is six-sided only. A d20 / DnD-style multi-die roller is on the list.

Why does the total feel skewed sometimes?

Because dice add up to a normal-ish curve. With 4 dice the average is 14, and totals near that are far more common than 4 or 24.
