Numerly

Barcode Generator

Type the value, pick a format, and the barcode renders instantly. Download as PNG or SVG for inventory tags, shipping labels, or print runs.

How it works

The generator uses JsBarcode to render barcodes in real time on a canvas. Each format has its own validation rules — the calculator highlights errors immediately. Code 128 accepts any ASCII; EAN/UPC require 12–13 digits; Code 39 is uppercase letters and digits.

Frequently asked

Which barcode format should I use?
Code 128 is the most common general-purpose format. EAN-13 is for retail products with a GTIN. Code 39 is older and more limited but widely supported on legacy scanners.
How do I download the barcode?
Use the PNG button for a raster image (sharp at fixed sizes) or the SVG button for vector (scales perfectly for print).
Will my barcode work in retail?
For retail you need a GTIN issued by GS1, encoded as EAN-13 or UPC-A. Numerly only renders the visual barcode — it does not assign you a real-world product code.
